SUMMARY:Teacher's Day and Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations at CMR Gandhi Public School – 5th September 2024
DESCRIPTION:CMR Gandhi Public School celebrated a vibrant Teacher’s Day and Ganesh Chaturthi on 5th September 2024\, with an array of exciting events and activities. The celebration was graced by the presence of Mr. Vilas V. Shinde\, Commissioner of Income Tax (Judicial) and former Special Observer for the Election Commission of India\, as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by the Guest of Honour\, Mrs. Kavitha Shinde. Our Chief Mentor\, Dr. Raj Kumar Khatri\, IAS\, also attended the event\, along with our esteemed Principal\, Mrs. Puneetha Khatri. \nTo commemorate the occasion\, parents and grandparents actively participated in competitions such as Ganesha idol-making\, ladoo-making\, and pooja thali decoration\, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. The response was overwhelming\, with everyone contributing their best efforts to make the event a grand success. \nOur students gave a warm welcome to the guests with a beautiful march\, and primary students personally presented handmade bouquets\, a gesture that added a heartfelt touch to the ceremony. Some of our talented students donned costumes of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to honour the legacy of great leaders and highlight the importance of teachers in shaping society. \nPrizes were distributed by the esteemed guests to the winners of the various competitions. Special recognition was given to students who triumphed in the Zen State-Level Karate Competition. Their achievements were celebrated with pride. \nTeachers were honoured for their indispensable role in shaping the minds of future generations. At CMR Gandhi Public School\, we believe teachers are the pillars of society\, guiding students not just academically but in every aspect of life. SUMMARY:A Day of Discovery: CMR Gandhi Public School's Exciting Field Trip to Param Science Experience Centre!
DESCRIPTION:Our students were very eager to start their day on an exciting and interesting trip to the Param Science Experience Centre! On the 6th of September 2024\, the students of grades 1 to 6 from CMR Gandhi Public School set out on a journey to explore the wonders of science in a fun\, hands-on environment. \nUpon arrival\, the students were brimming with excitement and curiosity. They were immediately captivated by the array of interactive exhibits and activities designed to spark their interest in science. The Robotics and AI demonstrations were a big hit\, where students interacted with robots and learned about cutting-edge AI technologies. Their eyes widened with awe at the astronomy section\, exploring the wonders of the universe\, viewing celestial models\, and attending fascinating planetarium shows. \nThe Physics Experiments corner was buzzing with activity as the children experimented with principles like magnetism\, gravity\, and energy. They also had a chance to dive into virtual and augmented reality experiences\, which transported them to different environments\, from the vastness of space to the depths of the ocean. \nIn the STEM Learning Zones\, students enthusiastically built simple machines and solved challenging puzzles\, fostering teamwork and creativity. The Innovation Corner encouraged them to think like young engineers\, designing models and prototypes. \nThe day concluded with a series of live science shows and demonstrations that left everyone cheering. It was a day filled with learning\, laughter\, and lasting memories\, reminding us all of the joys of experiential learning. SUMMARY:Book Club Inauguration at CMR Gandhi Public School.
DESCRIPTION:On September 25\, 2024\, CMR Gandhi Public School proudly launched its Book Club with an engaging event featuring a storytelling session by renowned author Riddhi Maniar Doda and a presentation by Ms. Sushma Subash Thakan. Ms. Sushma’s interactive session on the importance of reading sparked curiosity among students\, who actively participated by answering questions and sharing their thoughts. \nAuthor Riddhi Maniar Doda enthralled the audience with her storytelling\, enacting scenes from her book “The Boy Who Wore Bangles\,” which captivated the children. Some students even shared their takeaways from the story\, discussing what they liked and learned. \nSpecial guests included Mrs. Puneeta Khatri\, Principal of CMR Gandhi Public School and author of “Cockroach Scam and Other Stories” and “Santa Gets Bangalored”\, along with our Chief Mentor Dr. Rajkumar Khatri\, IAS\, MBBS\, MBA. Dr. Rajkumar and Mrs. Puneeta Khatri addressed the children\, inspiring them with a motivating speech\, followed by a delightful photo session with students\, parents\, and guests. The event was a huge success\, and many parents attended and registered their children for future sessions. \nThe Book Club will be held every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:10 PM.
